1. Young Dolph, a rapper, was killed in a shooting in Memphis.

Young Dolph (real name - Adolph Robert Thornton Jr.) was a rapper from the United States. King of Memphis, his debut studio album, was released in 2016 and reached number 49 on the Billboard 200 list. On O.T. Young Dolph was also featured on Genasis' successful track "Cut It," which reached number 35 on the Billboard Hot 100. Rich Slave, Young Dolph's seventh album, was released in 2020 and debuted at number four on the Billboard 200, making it his most successful album to be released. On November 17, 2021, in Memphis, Tennessee, Young Dolph passed away after being shot.

According to Memphis Police, a gunshot occurred at 2370 Airways Boulevard near Ketchum in Memphis on Nov. 17, 2021.

Officers and witnesses stood in front of shattered glass at Makeda's Butter Cookies, a bakery in a strip mall that Young Dolph had previously visited.

The rapper had just bought cookies at Makeda's, according to a guy who answered the phone and introduced himself as the store's proprietor.

In a tweet, Memphis Police Chief CJ Davis said, "This incident is another example of the senseless gun violence we are facing locally and globally."

Police have not identified a suspect and have appealed to the public for assistance.

2. Surprise Proposal at Adele’s album promotion

Adele may be the queen of telling it like it is about our heartbreaks, but her involvement in bringing two people together stole the show at her CBS special on Nov. 14, 2021.

The scenario was as follows: A man contacted what he thought was a show — but it was a "fake show," according to Adele — to assist him in proposing to his seven-year-long girlfriend.

They planned to have a picnic near Adele's concert throughout the day, and the night would end with a proposal.

The idea succeeded, and the results were wonderful.

"I'm going to murder you if you make a noise," Adele warned the audience, which included Lizzo and Melissa McCarthy.

The woman was taken aback when her noise-canceling headphones and blindfold were removed.

"Is this for real?" she inquired. "Who are these people?" says the narrator.

Adele emerged from the shadows before bursting into "Make You Feel My Love," after the man proposed and she accepted.

"She's weeping her eyes out," Adele joked in the middle of the song.

Of course, who can blame her?

The timing was odd since the singer is promoting "30," which has been nicknamed the artist's "divorce album" by many. But if there's one thing, she made known during her two-hour conversation with Oprah Winfrey, it's that the record is about unity — only in her case, it's about getting together with her happiest self. And it took a lot of painful decisions to get there.

It's the first time she's been in a relationship where she's "liked myself and been open to loving and being loved by someone else," she told Winfrey of her current relationship with sports agent Rich Paul.

3. Zac Stacy got arrested in Florida for his behavior with his ex-girlfriend

According to authorities in Oakland, Florida, former NFL running back Zac Stacy, 30, was detained in Orlando after boarding a flight from Nashville to turn himself in.

According to a redacted arrest document, Stacy was arrested after a surveillance camera reportedly showed him assaulting his ex-fiancée in front of his 5-month-old boy. Stacy's arrest warrant was issued on Nov. 17, 2021, according to court documents.

According to Orange County Corrections Department records, Stacy was arrested on counts of aggravated violence (severe bodily injury) and criminal mischief (under $1,000).

Following his arrival at Orlando International Airport, Stacy was apprehended without incident, according to Oakland police. On Nov. 19, 2021, he was scheduled to appear in court.

The woman "looked to be extremely upset with tears in her eyes," according to the affidavit, when Oakland police arrived at her residence on the afternoon of Nov. 13.

The victim's clothing was ripped, she had food in her hair, a huge flat-screen television had been pushed over and shattered, food was spread on the floor, and a baby's bouncy chair had been knocked over and destroyed, according to the affidavit. During the argument, two children were there, including Stacy's baby son, according to authorities. According to the complaint, the victim suffered several injuries to her face, stomach, and legs, including bruises and scratches.

In the affidavit, Oakland police detective Shawn Dozier stated that he reviewed the CCTV tape that showed the alleged incident.

The footage shows Stacy "hit the victim twice to the back of her head, the first strike with an unknown weapon in his hand," according to Dozier. The victim was knocked down by the second strike, which was delivered with a closed hand to the back of the head, according to the affidavit.

Stacy is prohibited from threatening or contacting the lady in any manner, including being within 500 feet of her house, vehicle, or employment, according to a Florida court that issued a "no contact" order on Nov 19.

Two further occurrences between the victim and Stacy were reported to Oakland police. On Sept. 26, police were called after Stacy reportedly assaulted the victim with a fistful of mail on the left side of her face. The victim chose not to file a complaint.

People Magazine gave Paul Rudd this honor, ‘Sexiest Man Alive after it was disclosed by Colbert in “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert”. Colbert, to prove if he could make anything sexy or not, put him through a series of sexiness tests including a physical exam, a Westminster Dog Show-style judging round, and a photo shoot as a construction worker and monk. 5. Nicole Kidman is exempt from the COVID-19 quarantine while filming for Amazon in Hong Kong.

Following allegations that Hollywood actress Nicole Kidman did not have to spend time in quarantine when she landed in Hong Kong to film a TV series, the Hong Kong authorities said on Aug. 19, 2021, that an individual has been given a quarantine exemption to undertake "specified professional labor."

"The case under discussion has been granted permission to travel to Hong Kong with a quarantine exemption to perform designated professional work, take into account that it is conducive to the necessary operation and development of Hong Kong's economy," the government said in a statement, without naming Kidman.

It said that those who are given such exemptions must follow disease preventive measures to reduce the risk of transmission and public interaction.

Kidman was spotted out and about in Hong Kong after apparently flying in from virus-ravaged Sydney, Australia. She's in town to film Expats, a new Amazon Prime Video series.

Her exemption comes as Hong Kong tightened entrance rules, forcing passengers from high-risk nations, such as the United States, to spend 21 days in quarantine and fully vaccinated travelers from medium-risk countries to spend 14 days beginning Aug. 20, 2021.

Travelers from medium-risk nations were previously allowed to spend only seven days in quarantine at approved hotels provided they were completely vaccinated and had a positive antibody test.

6. Video games, another potential feature by Netflix

As people emerge from their epidemic cocoons, Netflix posted its worst subscription increase in eight years. As a result, it's introducing a new attraction to its lineup: video games.

The video streaming behemoth said on July 20, 2021, that video games will be included in all its existing membership tiers at no additional cost. The long-awaited expansion was confirmed in connection with the company's most recent financial report.

The announcement of the long-awaited gaming expansion coincided with the release of Netflix's most recent financial report. During April and June, the video service attracted 1.5 million new users, according to the financial report.

That's slightly more than the small rise that management predicted after the service got off to a poor start during the winter months, but it's still much behind the service's recent growth pace.

Netflix is now offering video games, which is a huge step forward. Last week, the Los Gatos, California-based firm hinted at the move when it announced the hire of Mike Verdu, a senior video game executive, to investigate prospective prospects in another industry of entertainment.

"We're doing these to help the subscription service expand and be more significant in people's lives," Netflix co-CEO Reed Hastings said during an investor call.

Netflix's chief product officer and the guy in charge of what he characterized as a multi-year growth, Greg Peters, said the business will start with mobile games before extending to consoles and television sets. According to Peters, the games would first be related to Netflix's most popular shows, but standalone titles may be added to the mix as well. He even hypothesized that Netflix would make a TV show or film based on one of its video games in the future.

7. Ontario provides $3 million in funding to the Canadian Film Centre

TORONTO — The province of Ontario has pledged $3 million to help the Canadian Film Centre cope with the COVID-19 outbreak.

The one-time payment, according to Culture Minister Lisa MacLeod, is part of the province's efforts to help the film, television, and new media businesses during the public health crisis.

"Film and television production, as well as animation and video gaming, have been real growth areas in our creative industries," MacLeod said at a virtual news conference. "I believe that, as our sectors recover from COVID-19, we will see a real stark increase based on our creators' ability to get their content around the world," he added.

According to the government, the province's assistance for film and television production contributed a good amount to the economy in 2019, providing thousands of employments for Ontarians.

During the first wave of the pandemic in spring 2020, production had to be halted. However, the government said on May 25, 2021, that between July 2020 and January 2021, Ontario would host more than 60 projects.

The money will support existing programs as well as establish new initiatives to better prepare Canadian talent for success in Canada and on the world stage, according to Christina Jennings, chairperson of the CFC's board of directors.

"Not only are we developing higher-level programs for writers and directors, but we're also developing programs for experienced crew members," Jennings explained.

Now it's up to us to rise to the occasion and join them."(Jancelewicz C,2021)
